Thank you so much for sharing this. It's really inspiring to see someone who is so talented has had to work hard to get to your standard now. Not saying you weren't great at 12 though I'm just saying there is definate improvement in realism!
this is trully amazing, to see how far you are so talented! that gives me hope lol sometimes i just want to stop painting because i want to get better but i paint all my life now only 4 years digitally, i guess those things takes time...

Your progress is INCREDIBLE!!! I can't believe you were that good at 12!!! Hmm....having a tablet does seem pretty liberating. I'm still working with a mouse (and if truth be told, my mouse control isn't all that great T_T). I should invest in one myself.
Oh my gosh! I totally know how distressing and embarrassing it is to look back upon older works!! The drawings that I did from 4th grade and above upset me so much that I just up and tossed the whole mediocre collection. Gah! The eyes I used to draw took up a frightening two thirds of the face, and the hands and feet were so small!! *buries face in hands* Nevertheless, I regret not saving a few past pieces because at least reflecting upon those deformed pictures of earlier years makes me feel better about my art if I'm in a total slump XD. And being able to make one of these art timelines is pretty nifty ^^.
You know, that actually gives me some hope. I admire your work a lot, and to see how far you've come in a few years makes me want to continue trying to improve. I looked over the entire thing, and really enjoyed seeing how far you've come!
You have -no- idea how unbelievably jealous i am, right now. i feel like crying...
your talent has reached a point of perfection that i never even dreamed of, and to know that you will improve further, confuses me. Uh.... i dont know what to say?
Thank you very much for sharing the development of you skill and art!
In german we have a proverb that says: "No master has ever fallen from the sky."
And because you are a real master of art, it motivates me to keep practicing.
There is a technical term which encompasses the achievement of the integration of conceptualisation, realisation and objectification at levels of excellence for all elements, and accords the sum of the elements with the quintessence of intrinsically acquired positive complementarities.... ah, now I remember: "fucking awesome".
A true histroy should teach through illustration so that it is remembered. I don't know if I can offer any more kudos for such a clever concept, so well articulated than to say I have learned much, and humbly so. Thank you. I have copied. When I go back to work in 2 weeks, I will get in early, and sneakily print this on the A0 plotter. Then I will hang it on my wall.
I always love to see these types of deviations, it just shows to some people that no one can digitally master photoshop, painter, or whatever you use in one day; and that it took lots of hard work and time.
I took out the time to go over this whole thing, and I have to say your improvment is pretty amazing. Being an artist I respect so much, its almost humourous now when I think back at the frustration of not getting my work as good as yours.
But now I know ...
