First of all, hi! I haven't been on Devart much since I moved to China in 2009, but I think it's time to give my watchers an update on what's going on.

Right now I'm working on a magazine here in Shanghai, called Vantage Shanghai. The premise is "intelligent luxury lifestyle" or something to that effect. My vision is that it will be like a lovechild of Monocle, Wallpaper, Noblesse, National Geographic and The Robb Report, but in dual language and for a Chinese/Shanghai-expat market (for now).

First of all I'd just like to say sorry!! for not updating in so long and for falling behind on my commissions. I will get round to answering notes and messages as soon as possible this week.

I'm currently working on a magazine here in Shanghai, China. It's called the Expo VIP Magazine and is endorsed by the Shanghai Expo and distributed to all the top hotels in the city with a circulation of about 15,000/ month. As editor in chief I've been so busy lately I really haven't had any time or energy to work on art much, but I hope that can change soon as i have lots of ideas for pieces.

I've been thinking of buying a DSLR camera but have quite literally NO CLUE where to start looking. HELP!

For all you people who are in the creative industry or want to be, what's your ultimate goal? How long do you reckon it'll take for you to get there and what sorts of things do you think you need to do to get to where you want to be?
